Let me tell you a story about our friend Larisa Kluchman – she's is the cultural  strategy director at Sparks & Honey and an amazing strategist. About six months ago, we sat down with Larisa to talk about why her team wasn't winning as many pitches as she'd like. 


We set out to crack the code of what was holding them back from achieving the success rates their high quality work deserved.

One pattern emerged in 90% of their failed pitches. Each one of these potential clients exhibited one or more of what we call the 6 Pitching Sins – red flags that should send “DANGER! DANGER!” warnings to any agency that encounters them. We gave Larisa our list and advised her to use it to screen which pitches she took on. Her results:
